Those young students, gathered at Casa Àsia on October 19-20, have debated in different groups the issues mentioned above, which are the same ones debated at the fourth edition of the East-West Dialogue, in order to issue a final document and present it at the panel “The Voice of the Youth”, to which they were invited.
The first day of the meeting, the young participants debated the issues of their committee, in order to reach an agreement about the definition of each concept and to specify the problems at stake. The second day, once the concepts had been defined and the problems specified, the participants started to look for possible solutions, always bearing in mind the real difficulties faced by experts when dealing with these issues. Finally, a joint debate took place, where each committee presented the work done and shared it with other participants so that they could express their own opinion about it.
It cannot be denied that there were some unavoidable tensions and funny situations during the C’MUN Special Meeting, since participants spoke from different points of view. However, it has to be said that participants made a great effort to go beyond their differences and reach a general agreement.
