The United Nations Association of Spain organises the

4th International Model United Nations of Catalonia

Barcelona April 29 - May 2 2009

Dear Friends,

It is my pleasure to announce you that the Catalonia Model United Nations (C’MUN) is back! After the great success of former editions, the C’MUN 2009 is now a reality and we would like to have your participation. The simulation will take place in Barcelona from the 29th April to the 2nd May. If you are interested, please read the following information:

. Participation is open to university students or interested people AGED BETWEEN 18 AND 30 YEARS OLD.

. Please take a look at the C’MUN 2009 country list (www.anue.org/en/cmun/delegations2009.html) to select the country/ies* you would like to simulate; then, send us the complete application form** , plus a brief cv and a motivation letter (1 page maximum) to cmun@anue.org.

There's also the C’MUN Press Team, which publishes the daily conference newspaper, The Clarion. If you want to apply for The Clarion, fill the Press Team application Form

Participation is restricted to 2 delegates maximum per commission and per country represented. You CANNOT represent your home country.

. The registration fee for C’MUN 2009 is 70 EUROS (for each delegate).

. The deadline for the applications is the 2nd March 2009.

. The Association offers the accommodation in youth hostels for the delegates coming from abroad the province of Barcelona.

. The Association offers the lunches for all delegates for the days of the simulation (From April 30th to May 2nd ). Plus a special cocktail on the opening day (29th April) at the City Hall of Barcelona.

*You can also represent some NGO’s or “special actors” (also on the webpage); so if you have a different proposal for this new kind of actor, please, feel free to tell us.
** If you are a coordinator please reply and send the delegation form and distribute the individual forms to the members of your delegation.
If you are participating individually (so you are your own coordinator), please reply and send both forms alike.
If you are willing to participate but you are not coordinator, please reply and send the individual form after having contacted your coordinator
If you are interested in applying for the International Court of Justice, please contact us via mail since the selecting procedure is different.
