PEACE PRIZE
Since its foundation in 1963, the United Nations Association of Spain has carried out an activity towards the spreading and consecution of the UN aims and principles. It’s with this spirit that UNA-Spain concedes the Peace Prize yearly, which, since its first edition in 1980, wants to recognise an individual or collective endeavour that stands out due to its defence of these goals, the peaceful conflict resolution, and of basic human rights and freedoms”.
