On December 10th of 1948,the General Assembly of the United Nations agreed and proclaimed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. After this historical moment, the Assembly asked all member States to publish the Declaration and make the arrangements to distribute, expose, read and comment the document among the schools and other spaces of knowledge, without any distinction based in the political condition of the countries or the territories".
UNA-Spain, which has the defense, promotion and spreading of the United Nations principles and the Human Rigths as their goals since its creation, has made of Human Rights the essential part of their activities. The Association has been developing a series of courses and seminars on Human Rights for schools, civic centres, organisms and public institutions during years. Specially remarkable also is the intense task of the Association in the translation of documents, reports and resolutions on Human Rights, and its publishment and spreading, like the studies, dossiers, and pedagogical material on this field.
